Hello and welcome to our new site - Samurai-Weapons.net.
I’ve been long fascinated with the noble samurai warriors of ancient Japan. These men lived a style of life that is unique in our known history. It was an existence that was heroic, with an emphasis on honor and chivalry that has rarely been seen before or since.
It was also a very violent time, thus the samurai required an extensive collection of deadly implements of war. Check out our weapons page for an extensive list of those weapons with brief descriptions of each. If you notice any missing weapons, please drop us a line and let us know about them so we can add them.
As we continue working on the site, we’ll be adding detailed articles and photographs of all of the various weapons listed. We’ll also be looking at the history of the samurai and his place in Japanese history.
